Vox'Nam is my very first game project. It took me 4 years to complete.
I made all visual content (except fonts) and the game itself.
The music was composed by a friend and the sound effects are from Freesound.

Because this game evokes a bloody conflict and I don't want to take part in anything political about it, I have warned the player about the sensitive content.
As I wanted to study at ICAN, a Game Design school, I believed it was a good idea to turn this game into something a bit more ambitious and serious.
I added tons of features such as a shop, various weapons and upgrades, I reworked the interface and added missions...I did my best to extend the game lifetime while increasing its quality.
I tried for the first time to port a game to mobile platform. I had to optimize a lot of content and solve performance issues, learning about hardware constraints. However, my lack of UX skills made the game hardly playable as it was not made to be playable on a mobile device.
In conclusion, I would say that I learned a lot from this project and I am proud to have completed it. From an initial concept that was not meant to be shared to a final self-published product and even a mobile version. I finally did it.
